Anyone had experience with theese?

So a while ago there was some great feedback on the champion winch costco special. They no longer have the $299 special but I found theese. You can buy them from their store on ebay for $299 + shipping.

Just wonderin' how they compare to the champion.

It does have a series wound motor and the Warn-style clutch lever. I would take it over the Champion, but with 60 bucks shipping you're at $360. That's only $158 less than I paid for my Warn a couple months ago.

Here is the questions.

When (not if) you have a service, warranty or parts issue with it in 1,5, 10 years... is Gorilla going to still be selling Chinese winches on eBay?

Any winch is going to have a problem, any winch. I've exploded the planetary gears on my XD9000i and the brake on my 9.5ti. Warn covered 100% of the repair/parts 100%, that was 3-4 years after the were purchased.

Wanna see some neat piles of winches. Head to Six States in SLC, John & John have piles of Chinese winches (and Ramsey's ). They have a Champion that they are adapting a Warn motor too right now

Get an M8000 for $529. (this coming from a fairly happy Champion owner, too)
