Just wondering if anyone uses these? I have a limited amount of space and need to carry extra fuel (200 mile range on one tank just isn't enough). Saw these and wondered how they hold up?

We have a few here at the shop. They have held up just fine on the shop rig, but it does not really see that much use.
That being said, they seem very well made (for the price they better be) and seem to be a heavier gauge plastic than your average gas can. The mounting system does work well to hold them tight.

Caleb had one on his Husky. I know because it added some weight to his bike on the HTR trail this last spring. My nephew-in-law has one for his WR but has yet to use it.

Yeah, I have a 2gal water one and a 1 gal fuel one with the extension so I can stack them. I love them. They hold up extremely well, unlike the very similar kolpin ones. I've heard the kolpin ones all start to leak. The rotopax ones seal so well, that I took my fuel one off my bike (full of fuel) for the HITR trip and locked it in my truck. I was anticipating my truck smelling like fuel when I got back but it didn't at all. I was impressed.

Also, not sure if you noticed but rotopax is local, If you email Jason up there, you can pick your parts up so you can save a few bucks on shipping.

I've been thinking about making a Jeeperman holder for them... I've had 2 specific requests so far. Sent an email to Rotopax to see if they wanted to help out with the design and never heard back. I'd be more inclined to get it done sooner with some participation on their end. No participation and it will have to wait.

Why? Their holders are awesome, so unless you can somehow improve their design, I don't see the need.

Because their holder (alone) will not interface with any bumper like the Jeeperman tire carrier.
huh??? Since it mounts with a couple bolts, I find that hard to believe. Worse case, a simple bracket would fix that. I still don't see a reason to remake their holders.

To each their own. I'm not going to half ass some aftermarket holder to my bumper and sell it that way. Not to mention, there is no possible way it can be used with a 40" spare and cargo rack, in their form.

I was talking to them in Moab, they cant advertise them... but they have some cosmetic blems available for discount if you can pick them up in farmington.
