Anyone up for some rig recovey 5/31 Sunday

One of my friends, Nick (shaeferNsons) was up AF Canyon today, He was on MEG trying to turn around and slid off the road. I went up to try and pull him out, but just couldn't do it.:-\
We are going to head back up in the morning with a rig with a winch, but more the merrier.

Planning on meeting at the Tibble Fork Parking lot at 10am. He is almost to the top of MEG so it will be a fun ride anyways. The road is pretty good to the tailing piles. After that its a little rocky and washed out, but not horrible.

Thanks Bob, I'm hoping my dads winch will be enough, but after already going up once today, we can't have to much help. The road itself isn't that bad, its just being able to pull a 6000lb 79 Cherokee up a hill, at a bad angle.

They raised it. It is now $6, but its good for 6 days. bob, if you wanna go, I can probably cover your entrance fee if you need it.

I'll be there in my new Tundra...no winch on it yet but it is heavy and I have lots of chains, straps, etc. Hopefully I can make it...if not I'll turn around and let you guy go on.

Sure wish I could have gone! Had to go to a wedding instead! grr. Did not even get to go IN to the wedding, had to sit in the car with my kid (keep him from making noise inside.)
