I know it's not a wheeling trip, but hardly anyone checks the hunting and fishing section. I want to go down to my favorite fishing spots one more time before it gets much colder and my wife would rather stay home this time. So if anyone else has Friday and Saturday off and wants to join me let me know. You will catch a lot of trout where I go and I will likely be bringing some amazing steaks or all the fixings for burgers for Friday night and cereal and bananas for breakfast Saturday. You only need to provide your own fishing gear and pillow, and a few dollars to help out on gas and whatever snacks you want. I can even provide a sleeping bag if you need it. We can either sleep in a tent or I can bring my lightweight tent trailer that gets you level and comfy. The location is above Fairview near Gooseberry reservoir about 1.5 hours south of SLC, temps will be 40-50 in the daylight and 20-30 at night, so if you hate the cold this may not work for you. There will be hunters camped in the area, but I was there 3 weeks ago during the elk hunt and hardly saw another person while I was fishing. Even if you don't fish and just need 36 hours away from things feel free to come.

Post up and let me know, I would rather not go alone in the rare instance some inexperienced hunter thinks I'm a deer by the water at dusk. I wear my yellow Camelback and have other bright colors so it shouldn't be an issue.

Dang it. I am heading down to Monticello this weekend or I would come along. My wife loves fishing way more than me and is always looking for a new place to out fish people. Is it stream or lake fishing?

p.s. if you want to borrow some orange let me know.

There are both streams and small lakes, but the lakes are probably about iced over at this point. I have an orange hat and a black and orange Gore-tex if I need them, thanks for the offer though.
