I've a Whirlpool Cabrio top loader washing machine. It is about 3-4 years old. Makes a strange noise when it is washing larger loads. I've researched an found it is commonly a bearing that goes under the tub. Found the bearing and associated parts online, but I was hoping that someone could verify it for me? I'd rather pay someone local/from RME than some other random company.

Nope. There shouldn't be anything in your house that isn't on a breaker. It is likely shared with other stuff, possibly outlets and/or lighting.
