The cook in the relationship? Was just thinking of this last night as I was making Chili Verde for my girlfriend and her sister. Not that I don't mind knowing how to cook. :D Just not sure I trust my girlfriend to cook for me seeing she never has -_-

But, I would much rather have dinner cooked for me. It's kinda funny, Utah Is SUPPOSED to be a family oriented state. I have not met many women here who can cook. Kinda sucks.

Relationship??? What relationship? ;)

I do cook though... or rather, I can cook, but I don't have time to cook much lately, and not really anyone to cook for either. :-\ Oh well, more time to study, right? :p

That reminds me I don't cook as much anymore cause when I do cook its a lot of food. Waste of cooking just for me unless I go to the girlfriends place.

I need more time with the dutch oven skillz though, haven't cooked much in them other than things like dutch oven potatoes (which are always good) :D

I told my wife I'd cook again when we got a gas stove. When we moved in here, I went to Williams and Sonoma and got ONE perfect knife, and one excellent pan. As a former head cook at a pretty nice Italian restaurant, I really like my knives damnit... anyway, she managed to throw the knife out with the turkey one Thanksgiving (10" chef's knife, how the hell do you not notice that???), and gouged the holy hell out of my pricey German teflon pan, my beautiful, thick German pan! So I'm still a little bitter about that...

but I do cook every now and again, and help when my skills are needed. I grew up in a family of cooking women, my wife grew up in Long Island and learned how to heat up microwaveable stuff. Seriously. She has come a LOOOOOOOONG way though, and I'm proud of her. :D

See and IMHO thats society now a days. Microwave, I would much rather eat a roast from my crock pot then a processed food product out of the microwave. Dutch oven :) (note to self) get more dutch ovens.... :D

I love to cook. :D I didn't cook much when I was living with my mom because we had such different tastes in foods. Also I like cooking so much that there's usually too much food just for the 2 of us. But, now that I'm moved out and living with 4 other people and we usually have other friends over on a daily basis, I get to cook a lot and I'm lovin it. :D Prepackaged processed foods are one way to live, but definitely not the best. :)
