I know some people have been querying about the status of the AreaBFE website. Here is an update.

AreaBFE.com will be up and running within this month of July. I have made contact with Jeremy again and we are working on getting all of the content and information put together. :)

The information that will be available on the site will include trail maps and trail descriptions, directions to Area BFE, Events Calendar, Photogallery with exclusive picture of the trails, and possibly a forum.

Keep an eye out. http://www.areabfe.com/

:)

btw if you're interested it's kindof a slow load. Doesn't seem to be an overly heavy page (for bb).... maybe the server could use some tweaking?

I've noticed server lag quite often too... it is a heavily graphic based site, so of course it will take a few seconds longer than most. But it shouldn't take too long.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

awesome looking site! Are you going to make the trail maps easier to see? right now they are kind of small. I know you just got it up and going, so....just asking

on the "trails" section, is it going to eventually allow a bigger picture to be displayed when you click on a particular trail? so you can see where it is in relation to the parking area?

np, actually other than the intro flash (589KB) I'm impressed at the look you got for the size... what is the home page around 145KB?

In the about section you used except instead of accept when you said "we except donations"

Just a typo...

You accept donations except when you dont.

Accept...to take...
Except...to not take.... ;)

Thanks for catching that. I guess I need to proof read before I paste all that text in... :)

I see you can click on the trail/map and get a enlarged version, but there isn't much detail. what about a map that has all the trails on it with different colors indicating each trail? and also where the parking lot is in relation to the trails?

Those maps were supplied by Jeremy Parriot... he will have to get me detailed maps, as I don't know the area all that well.
