So..... here is the deal. "If" my 4runner sells in the not to distant future I have decided to pick up a new Rubi. In an effort to help my wallet I am trying to gather data.

For those of you who have recently purchased 12+ Rubi's if you wouldn't mind disclosing your end negotiated cost with the dealer I would find this information very helpful. If your uncomfortable posting said price feel free to PM me.

Please include

Stick/Auto?

If you have nav/no nav

Leather/cloth

Hard/soft top

I think thats about the only options that would have a big difference on price

As a reference, I intend Auto/no nav/cloth/hard top. So if these are your options your price will be particularly helpful.

Also what dealer you used good/bad experiences

Thanks in advance

Have you checked out Edmunds.com? Whenever I'm car shopping, I always use that site. That will tell you what the average customer in our area is paying for your exact color, options, etc. I've found that dealers hate it when you whip out Edmunds :D However, I've yet to find a dealer that wanted to make a sale not be willing to atleast get to the numbers there. You'll find some cars go close to msrp while others are significantly less. Also, something to consider, a lot of cars can be bought from dealers in Vegas for a couple thousand less than here. You may be able to save a few bucks by taking a weekend vacation to pickup your new Jeep :)

I hope you can get into a '12, the power difference will be well worth it.

Thats the plan, one of the reasons I want to get rid of the 4runner is lack of power from trail to trail. Don't want to go from one power disappointment to another. Especially since I plan to get a slush box

I happen to know an RME member who is a Jeep salesman....

Oh Really

If anyone is looking at car values, I also found truecar.com to be helpful. You can get all the prices without registering or anything. If you want the "truecar certified dealer" you have to register. But I was happy just seeing the prices
