Hey I have an idea for those who get flat tires....


nothing really worth talking about, I just feel neat when I can start a thread.

and yes this is a direct jab for anyone who else is sick of "tranny Frank" in his first 50 posts...

There's no problem with modern tires, it's the modern air they use. See, the FSM just says to fill the tire with air, it doesn't mention you're supposed to use 1950s air! They do this on purpose because... um... well, they just do it on purpose, I'm not sure why yet.

years ago when i was working at a full serve service station ( just dated my self with that comment) a lady pulled in and asked if we could put air in her tire or did she have to go to the dealer for it.......

It all really depends on if the tire came from the factory with summer air or winter air-

Man I thought if you got a flat you just drive real fast. You see, the faster you drive the more the tire heats up which causes oxygen to reinflate your tires. The heat also melts the tire tread back together to seal the hole which caused the tire to go flat in the first place.
