ATTN St George locals-Wife's Honda is lame....

Just heard from my wife, who fired up the car to head home from her trip to St George.... she says the ol Accord V-6 is stumbling- Autozone code check comes up with a faulty Crank Position Sensor. She already tried (wince) Sears Auto Center and they won't touch it, which is actually fine with me.

Steven Wade Honda is not open today so we'll have to pursue this option tomorrow, but I'd really like to know if there is a reputable, Honda Certified shop or mechanic in St George?

Car has 208K miles on it and is a 3.0 V-6 that runs (ran) great. It's due for another timing belt change and since you'll be in there anyway to do the CPS, might as well have this done at the same time. I did the first one and it pains me to pay someone else to wrench on stuff that I can do myself, but the cost of towing the car back to Ogden is $$$, not to mention getting my wife back home tomorrow.

Any insight would be appreciated, I don't really know a lot of folks in the St George area, so local feedback would be great too.

Thanks in advance, feel free to call.

My bro works at stephen wade, he is not a honda mechanic, but they are a pretty good shop, I bought my new d-max from them and have always been happy with their service.

Got it into Steven Wade Honda this morning, they confirmed the dying CPS and so I had them quote me a timing belt, seal, waterpump, etc replacement while they were in that deep. $850 out the door, so I said getrdone.

They were very polite and helpful, treated my wife well and even hooked her up with the dealer discount on a rental car to get her and her mom and sister home today, as they won't have the car done until Wednesday due to parts ordering lag.
