Australaian football is manly as hell

I dont' know why it is on that channel it's on, but that game looks crazy. There's like 50 people on the field, looks like any kind of pass is alright, people doing crazy superkicks in the middle of all the players, crazy hits with no pads, all played on an enormous circular field with weird 3-poled goals of some kind. It looks like the kind of game you'd see in a movie from the future, or an alternate Earth, not like a game that evolved from European sport culture.

I endeavor to learn more about it. The field is like a mile wide, at least on camera.

Yeah, it's pretty entertaining. Fast-paced and not for the weak, that's for sure. The running all over alone would probably kill us.

I am NOT a sports fan at all,

But I will never understand why american football players think they are such badasses.

rugby, and AFL seem to be way tougher. NFL players suit up in pads scientifically designed to take most of the impact. Rugby and AFL players go at it with tube socks and jerseys. Hockey players wear pads and helmets, but at least they get to fight as long as they are standing. From where I stand, The NFL is a money making business first, and a sport second. Kinda like Pro wrestling. I wonder how long NFL players would last in Rugby. Because of all the money they make, NFL dudes seem to think they are all tough as nails, but I wouldr how long they would last without pads.

That's the point. The guys playing pro football weigh around 275 and run 4.6 second 40 yard times. They are hitting with everything they have.
