Onthe way to school friday night my jeep started to surge.
I looked at the tack to see if it was going up or down,to my dismay it was going up but not much (10 rpms).
It will only do it in 3rd gear (it is a 3 speed auto) at any rpm and no other gear or around town. It also has enough fluid and does not smell burned and is a good color.
What I need to know is it clutch packs or torque converter.
Any of ya a good tranny guy or know of some that is that I can talk to.
