Go see Steve down at Mountain View Autobody, they're on Pennsylvania Ave. just down the street from Six States. Very quality work and Steve is a good, honest guy.

Cheston, we all know you can do it yourself! Just look at the Scout! A work of art!

Thanks!

I do want to do the work myself. The insurance is just trying to screw me. They want to give me 4000 for a 8500 job. Im hoping with a few legitimate estimates from shops they will bump the price up for me.

If they wont give me more, I will just let a shop fix it and they can fight it out with the insurance for more money.

Got some bad news though.....I might have toasted the 460 I got from you already. Last time out it didnt seem like it had any power. I ran a comression test on it tonight. They are all about 90-95. That motor should be about 150 (I think)

I did run it with no oil for several minutes and it got really hot a few times at Top Truck but I was hoping it survived. It still sounds good. No noises and it isnt burning oil so I might have warped the heads. Not good either way :-\

One of the RME'ers works for B & B auto body. In slc just off I-15 about 4500 south. Can't remember his name, but that is where I have taken cars for work before and was very happy with them.

Thanks Brett. I replied to the PM, and anyone else looking, we are a full service Collision Center. I put up some pics of recent custom stuff we've done, but most of our work is Collision Repair. And yes the RME discount will apply to insurance jobs too. We can use it cover deductibles, etc. Or just give me a call, I have a soft spot for fellow wheelers.

I'd recomend Jack and his shop. They did a great job on my Jeep.

I dropped the truck off to Jack yesterday. I knew it was in safe hands when I saw a SWEET Scout being put together inside. They said Ben Hanks built it. Anyone know whos it is? I dont know if I have ever seen a Scout so clean!
