Hey Guys, new here first post. Building My first Jeep but not first 4x4. I am looking for a shop that can narrow a D60 for the ft of my YJ. my plan is to put a d60 in the front and a 14 bolt in the rear. Posi in the Ft and Locker in the rear. I want to go stock width on both and say 35" tires. I want a good all around jeep that I can still drive on the road. I will swap in a 350 auto with a 300 or a 205 T-case. SOA and should do it for a start. what do ya think?

Well, I don't know where the "State of Acceleration" is, so it's tough to recommend any shops that are local to you. ;)

If you're only planning to run 35s, I wouldn't go 60/14. Seems way overkill to me. Don't waste your time/money on a posi, get a real locker.

Sorry I am in Payson. As far as the 60-14 Axel combo I was thinking about a 9" -44 combo but I have lots of Dana 60 parts. I already have 1410 yokes in my parts supply and a locker for a 14 bolt and posi unit for a 60. I think this jeep will see a lot of time on in the sand and trails I doubt if I will drive it on the street but might be nice to be able to. I may even go with a big block instead of a small block. my last off road toy was a 68Bronco 9"rear and 44 ft. had a 420 ci small block with a top loader 4 speed ran good but sold time for something new.
