We took the body off, stripped the drive train, kept what we needed and threw away all the tube work and the frame.

Now the axels are cleaned up and ready for new brackets we decided to start on the frame. We built it 100 hundred percent out of 4x2 and 3/16th thick. We built the frame so there was absolutly no body lift. The body sat right on the frame. Which means we had to clearence the floor for a drive train to come through. We started with drive train on the ground and built the frame to the ground so we would have a flat belly.

Then came the fun setting up the suspension we ended up doing a 3 link on the front with a track bar. We did a 4 link in the rear we ended up setting up the wheel base at 112 " we wanted to keep it as low as possible with running a big Ass tire. I think the belly ended up being 22 1/2 " at ride height

Looks real good TC, I love the fab work. I think it's cheating when you work at BHR, have access to killer tools and can combine that with incredible fab skills. :p I'm looking forward to the rest of the project, looks like you've been making good time!
