Bacon poll!

The towering bacon 'sandwich' in the other thread, and the bacon popcorn, got me thinking about bacon again.

How many of you believe that it is really a wonderful substance?
How many think it's overrated?
How many just don't care for it?

Hi, my name is Jason... and I uh, I have an addiction to bacon. Just this Monday, at about 10:00am I was placing pepperoni into hot bacon grease and eating them once cooled. They're really good that way, as I discovered.. THen there's bacon wrapped sauteed mushrooms.. Very good stuff.. BLT's are killer.. Bacon simply makes anything better than it was before.

I was doin my thang on the old Kamp Kitchen with 1lb of bacon when Kurt introduced a whole bag of pepperoni's that were left over from pie iron skillet pizzas over the fire... While others ate them out of the bag, I knew what had to be done. So, I dropped a pepperoni slice into the boiling bacon grease.... Heaven.

... Then we added the bacon to a breakfast gulosh that was absolutely incredible.. Hash, bacon, eggs, spam, cinnamon, mustard, milk, cheese... stewing in a dutch oven... Holy mother of party in the mouth...

Bacon is the uber-food. If Nietzsche had written about food, he would have surely written about bacon.

If you guys haven't tried it, Lucky 13 on 1300 S. and W. Temple smokes their own bacon daily. It's a little slice of heaven. The burgers are awesome, but I go with the Turkey BLT--only without disgusting tomatoes and with Jalepenos. So mine is a BLJ--which sounds like something every guy should like anyway.

LOVE the stuff! I haven't tried the chocolate dipped bacon yet I've got to imagine that it's good stuff.

Bacon Wrapped Turkey - Best meat at Rodizio's
(along with the top sirloin, but I digress).
Bacon/Cheese pizza - Fantastic
BLT - An american classic
BLJ - Cody's on to something there
Bacon Cheeseburger - Goes without mention
Potato Cheese soup with bacon - Amazing
Bacon chunks as a salad topper - tantalizing
Bacon by itself - Can't forget that one
