Scoping some KOH rigs on Pirate, saw these beauties:

Looks like full-hydro only for now... :( but MAN! those are nice... and way sweeter than the only other double-shear arms I can think of..... *ahem*. :D

Nice job, fellers!

:D

edit: Looks like they'll clear H1's if you mount them that way, too. :D

They are what I have missed because I haven't been able to stop by in a while. What's funny is, last time I was there Jimmy Corgan and I were talking about some upcoming arms... I had no idea they would be THOSE, and they are SWEEEEEEETTTT!!!

too bad they won't work w/crossover. :D

Meat is right, these are different from what we talked about Tacoma. We first were going to make some fabricated arms like the randybuilt stuff on pirate. We decided to go all out with our own design.

They are not designed to work with H1 wheels either. That would be backward from our intentions. These are designed to increase Ackerman for improved steering geometry. Jimmy has spent countless hours looking at lines and circles on his computer.

These first ones are made from AL2219-T8 that we have laying around the shop. Left over aircraft material. Our official production arms will be made from 7075-T6 like our links currently. We have enough material laying around to make about 5 more sets. Joey Archuleta is going to do some real work testing on these before and during the KOH race. We will have pricing and more info to release at EJS this year.

We have some other super crazy things in the works right now. Our booth will feature some very innovative ideas for the current off road racing mentality.:greg:

I forgot to mention they have stainless steel inserts in them for all of the bolt together places.

I'm having Nate work on a press release we can post.

Mike, great work. Nice to see that you're addressing the ackerman angle. So many people set up their rigs without any thought and most aftermarket places don't take it into consideration. Again, nice work. I know I'll be picking a set of these up in the future to go along with my bling tie rod.
