They're in other threads and I don't know how to embed the link. My skills are lacking in that area.

Baby's got new eyes

One of my projects before EJS was to get some lights on the rig. I had the old buckets and turn signal pods, but had to get new parts for them. I have everything in except for some new retainer rings that should be here today. The old ones in the pics have green and yellow paint on them. I used some old Hummer H2 Halogen headlights I had laying around. I will be wiring these in this weekend along with the 39 Ford taillights in the rear. Hopefully will get my rock lights mounted underneath before next Friday.

Bart, what's your source for the old lights? Does the source have bezels and buckets and such? (my MB stuff is "not so good")

There might be a spare set of CJ2 buckets with headlights sitting in my garage. No bezels, but that couldn't be too tough.....could it?

I think the CJ stuff is bigger headlights. The MB/GPW is smaller?

Marc, I've got a spare set of M715 lights you can have, if memory serves they are the same as that era's CJ/MB's...

I'll get a measurement of those buckets I have and see if they are the same. Thanks

The buckets are hard to come by but the bezels and other misc stuff can be found at Trailquest.com or Kaiserwillys.com.

way sweet, but Id like to see more pix.

Whats the deal with your winch? does your rope come through the grill slats or are you running it down through a fairlead as a suchdown that you can run out forward?

Nice rig.

Looking good! We better do some wheeling together Bart. :p

Looking forward to it. Would be fun to get out and wheel with you, other than just seeing on trails. :)

Nice rig.

It runs straight down through a fairlead and to the axle. It can go forward from there. I used it on the Eagles Nest a couple weeks ago when there was a river coming down it.

If the goal is to build suspense...... it's working.

Jeez post the pics already. From what anyone can tell (from what pics there are) this thing looks completely badass and everybody wants to see the damn thing (I know I do).

It's like a strip-tease here.
