And they wouldn't give you a lead as to where to get one? Pudheads! How about calling some of the microbreweries? They may be a little more helpful. The only thing else would be to start calling some of the local bars and seeing if they had any extras.

Restaurant equipment supplier?

How fast do you have to have it? Amazon has some but would take a little while to ship.

Nevermind, just reread your OP.

Micro brew supply stores? You don't need a specific tap do you? Thats what duct tape is for

You can get universal Chalkboard type handles at the Beer Nut in SLC. That way you can label them however you want. Don't know if that helps or not?

Or you could go raid the basement of a BYU frat house! You're sure to find one there!

We want a bud light and blue moon handle.

Then I would try the BYU sorority house ;)

I'm not sure where to get one other than from a bar that isn't using them or from the distributor. A "micro brew supply store", if such a thing actually existed, would probably only have stuff for, you know, microbrews I guess. BL and BM would be the antitheses of a microbrew.

The only other thing I can think of is to call around to the various restaurant equipment graveyards. Go to KSL and look in the used restaurant equipment section, there are wholesalers that buy and sell used restaurant equipment, and also repo and resell the stuff for banks. I've been in some of the graveyards and they have old commercial keg coolers and taps. I'm sure there are some handles floating around too.

I can get all sorts of tap handles, and I can get the threaded inserts to make your own out of just about anything, but nothing for a particular batch of beer pre made. You could easily rig up a BL and BM bottle to be a handle though using one of the threaded inserts. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have any on hand until the end of the week.

Thanks for the advice I will look into those tomorrow.

Interesting thread for Utah..

I know, right? With one of the most notoriously passionate and knowledgable beer communities in the nation, all this talk of Bud Light and Blue Moon seems a bit odd.

When you have 100 plus people drinking beer for 3 days homebrew isn't really an option. Bud light and blue moon aren't my first choice but you have to please the masses.

That's a lot of people drinking. I definitely wouldn't try to feed them home-brew (that would be a shit load of work), but don't rule out the little guys. Lots of good microbrew options.
