Best christmas present ever

My inlaws and wife gave me the best christmas present ive recieved YET. A 30" ELECTRIC MASTERBUILT SMOKER AND SOME HICKORY CHIPS. Now to figure out how to use it since ive never used a smoker.

Anyone have some ideas on great smoker recipe books to share I could download?
Whats the best thing to start with?
I dont want to overdo it and just want to get going slow and learn well.

oh someone told me I need to cure this too. how do you cure a smoker?

When I had first started trying to smoke meats I ended up on Google and just did some searching. But, there was a thread on this board about cooking using a smoker. Let me see if I can find it.

thanks eric. im happy. I can set a temp, time, and add some wood and then take off to school for awhile and come back to some yummy meat. just hope my neighbors in my apartment complex dont call the crazy land lady on me.

Anyone have tips on cooking eye of round roast in a 30" electric smoker? This will be my first thing ive smoked.
