Best Comealong/manual winch option

What is your favorite manual winch option when you need to pull a vehicle onto a trailer without a winch? I have not gotten my multimount winch set up on my trailer yet and sometimes I want a manual option.

I see lots of cheap comealong options and some $1K options too.

Also, the Warn Pullzall looks awesome and is referred to in a few threads I searched but is the 110 and the 24v option up to pulling a roller onto a trailer under good circumstances?

Thanks

Using a come-along works, but it's exhausting. I'd love to have a Pullzall.

Recently I've used another vehicle with a winch to load my non-driving vehicles onto the trailer. 😁

I have a Harbor Freight 3500# winch mounted on my trailer and about 2 years after buying it, it stopped working. That pisses me off.

It's far from ideal, but the last couple times I've needed to do that, I used a pair of ratchet straps. Crank one strap to pull it forward as far as it will go (4"?), then hook up the other strap and pull some more. Then release strap #1 to repeat.

If you have a Hi-lift available, that would get you much further between resets.

Another vehicle to pull with, or (obviously) a winch is mucho betterio.

Not often wrong. Never quite right.

This has a manual option, or runs on 12v. Mount it temp or permanent. Says the final gear ratio is 18-1, I don't know if that's deep enough to pull a heavy rig up a set of ramps by hand?

I vote for taking some inspiration from the Egyptians. Enslave a minority population (your kids and any other innocent bystanders) to pull on a rope and threaten to remove any electronic devices from their lives.

I've also used the ratchet strap method a few times when no winch or tow vehicle was available.
