Best Connection on Comcast, or other ISP..

I have the 8mb package... and here is what I get over my 54g from the router...



anyone else see that on their comcast?

anyone have a test on the new FIOS they would like to share?

That test was when I moved in to this house, now I am around 9-10mb

Peak times (like now) I just got 16171/2679

But when I test it late at night I get better than that

Comcast here as well... it bursted to 20,000Kb/s for a couple seconds but rested at about 15ish.

Using SLC, wonder what wired would give me... I do notice difference when using bittorrent on wired vs wireless

I think ive bursted to about 16 regularly, never seen 20. Need to run a cable down here too many projects....

You have a pretty old school connection 1.3mb, they are up to I think 7mb on normal plans, or that new FIOS, I wanna see some FIOS test!

Looks like 15mb is about 40, and 50mb is 60... and it does show its available in layton... omg

I live in west kaysville but its labled as layton.. and they don't have it out here... but I do know that on gordon and fort lane there is a utopia shelter right on the northeast corner and they have their sign out.... so depends on where in layton you are at....

Actually that depends on your distance from the CO. At my house the fastest DSL line I can get is 1.5mb (it tests at 1.35mb because qwest sucks). The standard package with qwest is still 1.5mb/768kb.

Hmm I played some online gaming, via computer and latency under 100 would be pretty good, but comcast cable traditionally has a more laggy latency.

I dont know if min is a little higher due to the wireless connection to my router

well, that's relative. While the latency may still be acceptable for online gaming, compared to other services they are crappy.
