Just bought a CJ-7 and its time for a cage (safety first). Where are some good places that fab cages? Or is there someone in the south end of the valley willing to fab on for me for some cash and beer?

Thanks,

I'll have to go check it out. What does a fully TIG'd cage cost?
I have know Idea. They MIG most things, probably just because it's easier, but they have 3 different TIG machines.

I probably would mig also, quicker, EASIER, quicker... I mostly TIG everything , but only because I have the time and I enjoy it. I'm suprised more people don't convert their buzz boxes for TIG, pretty cheap and easy.

I'll let you convert mine for me. Does it need to be DC? Mine is only AC.

Good for Alum.
An AC/DC unit is preferred, look around in the thrifties or ksl classifieds for one. I used to have one I converted years ago but I sold it. Here is some info on it.

Thanks! Don't have a lot of money to biuld it up fast so I thought a cage would be a good stating place. Then bumpers, sliders, etc etc etc. Is going to be fun.
