I broke out yesterday afternoon and burnt some hydrocarbons...it was a good time.
I started in North Ogden, went over the divide road, rode around pineview, up Monte Cristo, over to Evanston, then did the mirror lake highway over to Kamas, around Rockport reservoir(blew by a cop at 95 without so much as a blink from the cop), down 80 to 84, down Weber Canyon, back through Ogden on Harrison blvd then home.
Good ride. I am working on getting my helmet camera lens replaced since I killed it riding the 4 wheeler 2 years ago...sorry, all you get are cell phone pix.
Butterfly lake above...and 3 pix of Baldy Mountain Pass at 10700+ feet below.
those clouds...my goodness they were gorgeous!!
And a pic of a moose with a nice rack...he is kinda hard to see in the cell phone pic, my stupid phone resizes the pictures willy nilly when I send them to my flickr account but he is dead center in the picture.
I also found out what it feels like to almost get thrown over the handlebars when I hit the rev limiter in top gear like a freight train. My only complaint on this bike is it needs one more gear so I can break the sound barrier
The Patrick Racing air kit and Power Commander add a LOT more horsepower...eep!
