The side wall is really flexable but it makes the bead blow real easy. You can't air down below 15 PSI or risk loosing a bead if you don't run beadlocks. I like the original KMs more and it seems most places are still selling the old ones for as much or a only a few dollars less then the KM2s unlike when the KMs came out and the were blowing out the old M/Ts for 30 - 40% off. There is a rumor going around that they are having to redesign the compund on the KM2s also.

I have a set and love them. When aired down they do have a lot of sidewall flex. I have run 11 psi w/o issues on a TJ. When in slick situations they get into it. I was in the snow one day with my brother. When climbing a hill my brother described the roost from the tires as snowball size chunks of snow. IMO they are equally as good on the freeway with good road manners. I would buy another set in a heartbeat.

KM2's

I have new KM 2's on my TJ. Easter was the first offroad experience with them. I ran them at 12 lbs with no beadlocks and no issues. Traction was as good as my old MTR's. I bought 5 for the price of 4 MTR's. I'd do it again.

I have them on my truck. Five times back to the shop and still can't get them balanced.:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2: I hate them!

That being said....anyone want to buy them?

35x12.50x18, Let me check. I have a hook up for tires so it'll be whatever the cost of all terrains are.... might surprise you. I'll send you a pm. By the way they're brand new. Probably have 1000 on them.

If I had 18" wheels I'd pick them up, but they'd be a bit loose on my 17s.

I have a set for three months and I run them on a cherokee at 13 lbs. My jeep is not light either with a big winch bumper with winch and rack with spare tire and tools and spare parts. I have not blowen a bead or had any bad luck love them. they stilck to the rocks excellent and will continue to buy BFGs in the future.

There is not a lot of mark up in the 40's. I was trying to get some on a deal for my buddy when I was at 4wheel, and I could only get about $40 off each tire.

From what I have seen with them, they are great on the light weight vehicles, i.e TJ's, Zuke's, etc. but not good on heavy rigs like full size trucks. But thats just from the feed back I've heard.

I have some on the Wagon and LOVE them they have great road manners for me and tow excellent. No flatspot problems that I have noticed and I air down around 10 psi with no beadlocks no problem on 17's. Fantastic in the snow and on bad roads. Would buy again no question! They have the best overall performance I have ever had!

so is there anyone that can compare these to wrangler mtrs?

On the rocks and on the street they are about the same. In the mud and snow the BFGs are far better and when you pinch the sidewall against a rock the MTRs will burp air and the KM2s will blow the bead and this being on the same rim and same air pressure.
