When you sign in there will be a spot for you to write what organization you are with. Please write RME and your sign on name. The Red Cross will give me that info and I will do a drawing of everyone from RME that came to either drive. The Red Cross is donating movie passes for the drawing. Plus JeepinJoe will be adding to the drawing.
There is going to be a South Jordan Stake blood drive on August 11 from 3pm until 8 pm.You do not need to be a member of that stake or the LDS church to donate at that time. Everyone is welcome. Location 2580 West 10400 South South Jordan, UT, LDS Stake Center. There will be another drive on Sept. 2.
On July 19th my father learned that he has leukemia. He is currently being treated at The Huntsman Cancer Hospital. The outlook is good and he has two matches for a bone marrow transplant, that should happen in Oct. Until then he will go thru two more chemotherapy sessions and full body radiation. During this time he will need to be given blood and platelets. If you would like to help out with blood or platelet donations his hospital account would be credited for all of the donations made in his name, Joe Thompson.
