So Bob is in Moab (EJS) having a good time at a party with his friends and others, when another attendant (Stella) decides to leave the party early in the morning and runs her truck into Bob's property (4RUNNER TOP) and DESTROYS it! (Stella should not have been driving probably
) Stella does not take the time to find out whose property she has damaged and leaves... bob the next morning discovers the damages and with little effort is told by several sources that Stella was the cause of the damages! Moab EJS ends... Bob wife drives home in the rain with no top! Bob gets home and calls Stella, at which time Stella admits to damaging Bob's property and says that she will pay for all the damages. Total damages for used top is a minor $300 Dollars. Keep in mind bob just wants comparable replacement, forget the fact it was extremely inconvenient for him to have to locate and have shipped from SLC to St. George. Bob still only asked for the replacement part price of $300, Bob’s friend did not ask for gas and or travel expenses. Bob calls Stella sever times to get compensated for damages with no answer; he leaves many polite messages with no response. About a month ago Bob runs into Stella at the bar and confronts her at which time she says she gets paid two days later and will pay up. It has been a month and Stella still will not return phone calls... Stella has a nice diesel tow rig and a Tacoma crawler on 40" tires, and owns a business the probably makes more than $300 in several weeks, Stella has also been spotted at the bar several times since spending BOB'S money on liquor! When confronted at the bar by bob's friend (who drove 650 miles round trip to deliver the top for free), Stella says she has no money, but had enough to pay for her tab no problem... WHAT SHOULD BOB DO NEXT?
