Recently finished two very important and extremely poignant modern European histories by renowned British author and historian Keith Lowe. For anyone wanting to gain some understanding of today's Europe both politically and tribally these two sad/brutal histories have a tale to tell. Researched and written from all sides and points-of-view these two books chillingly describe events that came out of many nightmares in the 20th century and the thousand years prior and still haunt the entire world today in the 21st. I learned incredible amounts of sad information that I had never known of before. Much of the modern USA was highly influenced by these European events because we had a great influence on some of them and they had a great influence on us.
