boosting wireless signal

hey guys ive just started using comcast and I want to be able to use it outside my apartment but my wireless signal is intermittent and will connect and disconnect.
Anyone have ideas for me on how I can boost the wireless capability of my wireless router? I have a netgear wireless n-150 router.

Go to www.dd-wrt.com and see if your router is supported. You might be able to adjust it. Or google wifi extender.
