Brake Caliper

I just swapped the knuckle on my Dana 60 to a knuckle from another year and the brakes are not the same, The old part had a bolt on caliper from Ford f350 1996, the new (used) part has a slide in caliper bracket that is 10.5 inches long and all ford brake calipers are about an inch shorter. am I missing a part that closes this gap or could this knuckle be from a Dodge or GM?

Ford kingpin brakes come in two different sizes. One size from '78-'79 and the other from '85.5-'92.

Fords are always dual-piston

Chevy and Dodge are single piston

do you know how long the calipers on GM and Dodge are.

the ball joints are on the replacement knuckle, it doesn't have kingpins

Doh sorry the "1996" should have tipped me off to that. Sorry I don't know the dimensions of GM/dodge calipers.
