What are some options for brake lines on a buggy?

Should I just get some hard line and double flare the ends or are there easier alternatives

Checker and autozone sell brake lines taht are flared with the fitting nut on them. They come in different sizes in metric and standard and they come in different lengths. I have redone an entire vehicle brake hard line system with these and they work great. They arent a bad price either.

Hard line the chassis and axles. Flexible rubber, or braided singles to the front and the back from the chassis to the middle of the axle.

I do brake lines at my work. Hose and rubber supply. If your buggy is on a trailor you can bring it down and as you measure out what you want we can make it. Or if you already know what you need we can make that. We do hard lines and flexlines just plain or you can have red, blue and clear polyurethane coating on the flex lines.

Run a hard line down one of your control arms and put very short rubber lines at the front and rear joints on that control arm. I think it looks cleaner that way, and you don't have to have a really long flexible line coiled up above your axle. I've always like these installations when I've seen them, but I have yet to do one of my own like that.

Cool

I can do the hard lines I just dont want to have to order parts when I would just be guessing at what fittings I need and I would like to get it all in one stop.

I have also been considering the nylon line, I had it on my sandrail and never had a problem but there was always some doubt in the back of my mind so I think it will be hard line for the buggy

I understand that. I have a fittings as well can't say we have everything but we can take care of most people that come in without having to order fittings but if you change your mind we are at 3450 south 300 west.

I would stay away from the nylon lines. the best flexable lines are the stainless steel braided lines you can't do any better than that and they aren't very expensive at all.

I'm in the same boat, doing all new brakes and a hydraulic clutch conversion, so I need a bunch of flex lines made. Are you open tomorrow (Saturday)? If so, could you PM me a name, and I'll be in to see you in the morning.
