Broken piece on fridge help please...

You guys got any idea where to get something like this? It’s an LG fridge and the part isn’t available from them.

It's about 45 minutes to print on a 3D printer. if you got a STL of it. I'll print it in florescent green if it were up to me

In the 3D world somewhere like https://www.thingiverse.com/ might have one you can just download and print if you can find it. I got a printer if you supply the STL.

Looks like a mechanical fuse for the icemaker drive. Have you tried your model number in Sears Parts Direct?

@4x4_Welder is correct but it’s for the freezer drawer it has an auto open auto close feature. I know I can get the part if I buy the whole drive unit but I’d rather not. If you push the door closed right as It finishes closing it’s fine if you don’t it ratchets for what seems like an eternity. For some strange reason I can tell the females in the house over and over to help the drawer close and it won’t make that noise. Anyways long story short quarantine and one of the worst noises I’ve ever heard in my life and are pushing me to me breaking point I need to fix this.

Is it just a piece of plastic with a 4mm square down the middle of it? Or does the broken end have something else there?

Same, if you can get or make an stl, I can print. Only 7 of our 10 printers are running 24/7 right now so we have capacity. I'll make you some spares too

It appears to just be plastic with a square socket on both ends I’ll put a tape on it when it get home.
