Bronco wont start

I have a 79 Bronco that wont turn over. When I jump it using the starter solenoid it will turn over but not with the key. I was thinking the Neutral Safety switch but I don't know where it is on the 79 bronc. I don't know where I should start. either with the Neutral Safety switch or by tracing all the wires to find out what is wrong?

I have seen a few of the solenoid's go out. I would grab a test light and see if when some turns the key you get power to the solenoid. if you do more than likely just need a solenoid.

thats were I would start.

Go find yourself a wiring diagram and track down and test every wire. if the solinoid is working when 'hot wired' it probably is a switch or freyed wire somewhere.

well I got it started. I checked the solnoid and there was no juice to it with the key in the start position so I looked for the wire and it was cut above the engine. So I fixed that a vuala it started right up. thanks for the help.
