Brother in-law factor!

Im going to get rid of my crappy carter carb on my 88 yj. Im going to go with the motorcraft 2100. Ive heard good things about this carb on jeeps. The good side is that I just happen to have all the stuff that I need to put it on. The bad side is when I go to a UT county Inspection/emmission station it probably won't pass the visual inspection. ( I guess it all depends on how knowlegeable the inspector is) So here's my options. Each year at inspection time, put the old carter back on, go get it to pass, go home and put the 2100 back on for another year of trouble free driving. OR, I have a brother in-law that lives in Nephi. ( no emmissions there) Should I try and work out a deal to try and use his house address and license my jeep in his county (then I would feel always beholden to him) or should I just plan on taking a day off once each year to swap carbs?

So our options are register it out of county and keep the $ you would spend on emissions and run with a good carb
or
doing something just to appease the emmisions people that will take a day out of your life every year... -_-

I know what I would pick... and it isn't an annual carb swap. :D

I hope there aren't any inspection people on the list, but I have found most of them don't know jack crap about specifics. If it runs clean, who cares? (Would they even bother taking the aircleaner off?) If it won't pass the dyno test, that's one thing.

After thinking about it, the Brother-inlaw thing just wont work out. Im going to take my chances and try and pass with the new carb on. If it don't, I will then swap back for the day with the carter.
