Sadly parting ways with my mistress. Built 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport for sale. 4.0L I6, Manual tranny. Asking $11,500. Runs extremely strong with no issues. Clean title, never been rolled, no known accidents.
The goods: G2 Dana 44 axles with chromoly shafts and ARB Air Lockers front and rear, 4.56 gears, sway bar disconnects, slip yoke eliminator, brand new rear drive shaft, brand new front brakes (Powerstop), Warn Rock Crawler front and rear bumpers with D rings, Warn rock sliders, Warn winch plate (still in box), Banks Ram Air, 4 inch Rubicon Express short arm kit - easily upgradeable to a Rubicon Express long arm kit, 1 inch body lift, onboard ARB air compressor (including air hose and inflator), Mean Green starter, new Optima Red Top battery, nice 35x13xR15 Toyo MTR tires with 70-80% tread on black Allied wheels, brand new full size spare - Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 35x13xR15 with brand new matching Allied wheel. Comes with hard top, soft top, bikini top, Mastercraft "oh $#&!" grab handles, neoprene seat covers, decent Sony stereo and sound bar. Has AX15 Tranny and NP231 T-case.
Drawbacks: Although I'm including the brand new winch plate and brand new spare tire, they aren't mounted yet and I don't have a winch. I do have an included aftermarket mount for the spare so you can easily mount it to the Jeep, but it's not a swing-away tire carrier, so when the spare is mounted it will be hard to get into the back door of the Jeep. The tire carrier was to be the next project. It has a nice, expensive Warn rear bumper, but you'll need to do fab work to get a tire carrier on it, or just sell the bumper and get a different one with a tire carrier. Paint is good on most of the Jeep but the paint on the hood is not because a previous owner lost or discarded the heat blanket under the hood (idiot!).
This Jeep is very flexy, even with the short arm kit, and the clearance is insane. At full flex, the front tires tuck right up into the flares and barely touch. The axles should easily handle 37" tires if you do new ring and pinion and want to go bigger. I've loved every minute with this Jeep, you won't be disappointed. The ONLY reason for selling is that my 3 kids are getting huge and simply don't fit in the back seat anymore without fighting. I'll be looking for something bigger to 'wheel soon that I can fab a 3rd row seat into. There is a 3rd seat belt bolted into the back seat from a Wagoneer, so 3 smaller butts will fit just fine.
Let's chat: Please don't lowball me. If you want to take it wheelin', that's fine, but I'm coming with you. Happy to show you what it can do if you're serious. Sorry about the small pic! Trying to figure out how to make it bigger. More pics to come.
