The fight to keep Caanan Mtn Sawmill Road open is still ongoing. A Dutch oven fund raiser dinner is scheduled on Feb 10th at PCI yard 3850 south 1700 East. Time is from 2-6 pm. A little background on this, An individual was cited by the BLM for driving on the Canaan Mtn Sawmill Road which is a County road the BLM has been denying for the last 30 years. The individual refused to pay the citation and filed suit against the BLM for doing so. This is an important case involving the BLM's authority on RS2477 roads. The recent 10th Curcuit Court decision would seem to support this case

The individual involved in this is doing it on his own and is not being supported by any organizations. The legal bills are large and growing. This is a case that is important to everyone and we need to get behind it and support him.
