Cage Q?

so after building my suspension i should have a bunch of steel left over. wat im using is 1.5"OD 1"ID DOM. would this be good to add to my factory cage? or is it to small?

small diameter, but sounds heavy..How much are you going to add to your factory cage? 1/4" wall thickness right? Id try and trade it for something else.

That's heavy-wall stuff to use for a cage. Nothing wrong with it, but it'll be hard to bend and heavy. Usually cage material is in the .120 wall range, you're at .250.

Probably just the back half, i want to use the PSC Trail Cage for the front

Its WAY to heavy. Its not going to be long until your TJ weighs as much as my Scout

Maybe save that stuff for some rock sliders or main bumper beams.

Trade it for 1.75 x .120 DOM if you can. I wouldn't use it for a cage, too heavy.
