Candace and I decided to make a last minute camping trip up AF, we thought that a Saturday night would give us plenty of options in the improved camping spots below Tibble Fork, boy was I wrong. At ~10:30 that canyon was off the hook, dozens of huge campfires going in all the picnic areas, two seperate clans watching a movie in the Tibble Fork parking lot, people everywhere, insane.

The water up there is higher than I have ever seen it. They have been doing alot of bank "fortification" along the river, with sandbags preventing some of the picnic areas from further flooding.

I will snag a couple pics in a few minutes...

I saw some of that too, looked like they were also working on the overflow pond at the mouth of the canyon. We drove home past Cedar Hills, that mudslide is insane. Sucks really...

Wow... that's a lot of water. I'm still debating when a good time is to head up from this side of the mountain. :)

Lehi Elementary school has a river across their parking lot, as of a little while ago it was all going back into the ditch after the lot though.

I'm going to head up AF later today with my camera.

Isn't the North Fork supposed to be open this weekend? I wonder if the water will delay it a week or two. I was up there this last weekend and also amazed at the amount of water.

I hadn't heard. I did not see signs of tractors above Tibble Fork (you know the ones that clean the road ;) ), but there were MANY signs of work along all of the rivers. I would think they've had thier hands full with that and haven't spent any time on the roads.
