The previous owner did a hack job fix. I can soder the wires but not sure how to attach the wire cover to the plug. Can Six States repair it? (they are closed today)

If its just the plug, you can replace the end with a small 5 way round trailer plug, then replace the socket on the winch as well.

If you end up throwing it away let me know so I can come take it out of your trash. I need one of those plugs. :)

Thanks Panos for the offer. I have it down at Six States right now and will post pics after I pick it up this afternoon.

John at Six States did an awesome job. When I asked how much I owed (he quoted me $15-$20 on the phone a few days before) he said "nothing....merry christmas". Good people are in short supply and John is definately a good man.

He's awesome. He fixed my winch for free even though it wasn't under warrantee.

Nothing but good to say about the John's at Six States. They are literally one more reason I buy Warn, I know if/when I have an issue, its not going to cost me more in the way of time/money.
