Cardiff Fork Canyon (Big C. Canyon)

Sully and I took an afternoon hike up to the Cardiff mine yesterday... Really made me mad to think the USFS stripped our right to drive it. It has to be one of the most scenic areas in the fall season... Mines, buildings, trees, rocks... The road is easily passable by a stock 4x4 (if you have a key).

Wish I could affor to buy land up there...

Up Big Cottonwood Canyon... Mill D South Fork (Cardiff Fork). The trailhead is the same as Doughnut Falls...

Worth the hike, 10-15 mines (that we checked out)... lots of old cabins, bunkhouses, machinery, etc...
