I don't know if they even still exist, but there was a little CB shop just North of 4500 S. on the east frontage road to I-15, up the street from McDonalds. I think it was called Contact (?). If they're still around, they could do it for you I'm sure.
I don't know who is doing CB tuning these days, there is another com shop (Communication Products in Midvale) that sells CB (mostly HAM though). I don't think Bob does any tuning but it would be worth a call... he might know who does.
I have not a thing. I have just thought about getting one today. That is as far as it got. I do have an old firestix but dont know much more than that.
Was looking into the uniden 78 or 68 series or the cobra 29 series.
I have a good used Uniden I will be selling shortly, I just upgraded to the Cobra 75 in both my rigs... Not sure which model it is (I will look) but I paid ~$75 a year or so ago.
I have 2 cobra 29's and they have been good radios, its nice to have the weather band. I wouldn't go any smaller then a 29 like the 19's I hear they are crap. There is still the CB shop in ogden next to the big Flying J on 21st street. I am sure someone on here has a SWR meter?
GTS (General Theatre Supply) used to do them. I am not sure if they still exist, since the location I know about is gone.....try looking them up maybe.
