Does anyone that uses GMRS radios actually have a FCC license? If so what is the cost?

I bought some stuff for a ham radio there and he seemed like a great guy I'm sure he has some CB stuff too...
Jinx coax should not be in 4 foot lengths but in wavelength multipuls... a full wavelength for a cb is 36 feet so half would be 18 and quarter would be 9... so if you can use those lengths you will find it helps also if your going to use two antennas you need to separate them by at least 9 feet to keep them in phase... if they are closer together they will actually start to decrease the signal and not work as well... so pretty much dual antennas are out for jeeps...
Also I have an swr meter and would be glad to help anyone on this as well...
