I saw this on my way home today.

The only thing I can figure is it was probably 4wd and he chopped the rear off and welded up the trailer to the frame and is driving in front wheel drive.

Sure does. I passed him and went WTF was that. and had to get in the right lane and slow down to 50mph to let him catch up to me to get the pics. I swear it took like 3 minutes for him to catch me.

That was my first thought as well. But, there are tandem axle motorhomes, busses etc out there, so must not be too bad.

I would expect to see that done with an older truck, but not a newer 1/2 ton Ford F-150. No wonder it was so slow.
