You talked yourself into my logic. Now I don't have to.
You're welcome?
I think we'll both agree the rod end on the chassis side will live longer than the RK joint at the axle, no matter which way it's oriented, no?

That looks a LOT like Rock Krawler's old XJ Kit.
They still mount the upper on the front three link kits like that

so what would be the best way to mount it at the diff end? You're welcome?

except for those awful YJ bushwackers lol
I would also consider moving your rear axle back to center it in the wheel wells for better clearance.
BUT they keep the FUZZ off me.. yall know how bloody strict the fuzz is about that in carbon county.
yeah i remember drooling over that every time i was by pioneer park haha!
i can't believe the 5.0 didn't nail you for fenders. the stinkin shops that do inspections are STRICT now. i found a guy at Extreme Automotive that's a cherokee fan so he'll pass it.. once i get the money for tax and reg haha
there's a bunch of us plannin a trail day the 29th.. the dimicks.. husseys.. you know. the trails up by castle heights north price.
i know exactly what you're saying, but i think the rear is where it's supposed to be. it looks off centered because of the way i had to mount the flares. when the rear tire is crammed up in the wheel well it rubs the rear of the wheel well, not the front.. so i wouldn't want to move it back any i would think.
i know what you mean about the yj bushwackers.. but actually they're Smitty-built flares for a TJ. they are huge, BUT they keep the FUZZ off me.. yall know how bloody strict the fuzz is about that in carbon county.
Hmmm, the shackle angle at static height should be like this \ .....not this / .
Can't ride well in the rear because the shackle angle is fighting the leaf when it compresses..... makes for a bouncy ride.
