Chevy Suburban quad cab????

So I had to stop at IFA for some dog food today and I see this parked in the lot

A suburban that was chopped with the rear of a chevy cab.

There are a few 80's body style versions of those running around my neck of the woods. The Ford Centurion's are good for a double take too

I saw a REALLY long suburban at Checkers one day and was looking at it when the owner came out an showed me what he had done to make it. He took a large Ryder moving van put a widened and stretched suburban body on it, then he added a stretched (to 12 feet) and widened dually truck bed on back of the suburban and blended the two together. He used it as a custom car hauler for auto shows. It was way cool but quite impractical as he had to park lengthwise in the parking lot so he didn't block access to the whole parking lot.

Kind cool, I guess. But why not just buy a crew-cab truck instead of making your own? Seems like a lot of work for something you just buy.

has anybody seen the streched multicolored i think checy out in magna? Its been a while since i saw it but it had like 5 or 6 cabs i swear, and they were all different colors ugliest thing i ever saw lol hope its not anybodies on here

That's the way I was looking at it. A lot of work for not a lot of return. And if it ever went off road there would be some serious metal wrinkleage.

seen it, agree with it being the ugliest thing ever. might be kinda cool if they painted it

I've seen a fe subs shortened a tad and modded to take a K5 pop top. Those were neat. Centurions make me happy, but the two Ramburbans I've seen make my pants feel funny.
