Chile Challenge

Well, I have gone and done it now. I had never been to Las Cruces to go four wheeling and a friend of mine talked me into entering this years Chile Challenge. This will be the first event the Beater has been in since the major rebuild. I really don't think the last EJS could be called much of an outing. More like just some time on the trailer.

For those of y'all who may not know what the Chile Challenge is I will post up some video clips. Cheston and Corey will remember this first fella. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqp_vac0IGo

it should be a good time i hope i can make it!

I love Las Cruses, but the distance from here is a little prohibitive. Have a blast. They have some great trails.

Thanks, I have never been and I really don't know what to expect. I really don't think the Beater is set up too well for the loose ledges that I have seen in videos but, I am going to give it the ol' college try anyways.

Chili Challenge is a great time. I've run most of those trails. Trails change year to year somtimes due to the fact they are in desert washes. Desert rocks aren't sticky like in Moab and that can cause issues. Many trails border on extreme carnage! There are a lot of options though from buggy type to daily driver.

Thanks for the info. I have been really second guessing myself and my decision to go. I hope that they will be willing to work with me.
