Daughter just totalled her ZJ. It is still structurally sound, frame straight, strong power source. Now I want to make into a rock buggie. Who here has chopped a ZJ? Looking for Pictures and ideas.

Thanks

Hey did the rear hatch make it? I have a brother in need of one. I'm also parting a 94 ZJ, is there anything you need?

I have a rear hatch still homey. Holla at me.

Yeah, mine is kinda buggyish. Lemme know if you have any specific Q's.

Have you thought about buying a tube chassis for it? You might want to think about that, it might save you a ton of headache, but then again, it might give you one too. :D

i've got a cherobuggy, it was a kind of a pain to build but turned out well. first trip out was ejs and it performed better than i thought it would by far.

i would definitely consider buying a prefab chassis from someone. one of the avalanche chassis is like 3k, i think it would be worth it to save time and maybe even some money.

but, if you want to look like a badass cut up the zj

yeah, the brutus chassis is a sweet setup BUT it is also the most expensive chasis I have found...the main benefit is you can buy from them premade everything (firewall, floor, tranny tunnel, cowel(sp?), basically everything) so that would make it a ton easier to put together but then you are just putting a kit together rather than building a buggy...IMO atleast:D
