CJ clip on a comando

I am starting a new project and was wondering if anyone had any pictures of built Comandos with a CJ hood and grill.

Why ruin a perfectly good Mando by putting a CJ clip on it? I have an extra hood you could use, and a grill wouldn't be too hard to find.

Heres one I had with cut fenders and later whole fenders.
It had Chev axles and the front axle needed to come forward about 4" to clear the back of the whole fenders. I never got the front axle move done though. I bought it with the CJ clip on it.

they are nice, I was thinking of running one, but now Ive got tube that runs straight to my grill hoop, and wouldnt look right with the raised fender, so Im getting a poly hood from TrentFab.

What is the purpose of this besides making an already heavy hood that much heavier? Engine access I guess, but doesn't seem worth it to me.

yep, lots of access but makes for a miserable heavy hood, theyve concidered seperating them agian.

Going Commando on this board has a M38-A1 hood and grille on the front of his commando. He made his own tube fenders. It looks killer!
