cj grill interchanges

i have an 86 cj7 that i am putting a new body on. i have a tub hood and grill. but the grill is for a 70's cj5 the tab for the drivers side rod that connects the grill to the tub is mounted in a different location. does anyone know of any other problems this grill might cause me? or is this tab gonna be my only hangup?

I don't believe the newer radiator will fit properly in the older grill... turn signals are different for sure... Not sure what else.

I enlarged the turn signal holes and used a 5 grill on my 7, but my radiator doesn't mount to my grill.
