Dang, looks pretty close. Why get so far along and abandon ship? Seems like a good price, I need this like a toothache but it's actually tempting. I really need to get back into a rig.

Honestly, I don't know why he built it. He's moved on to motorcycles. It's pretty much the same as mine. Slightly shorter wheelbase. Has Alcan YJ springs. It needs a fair amount of finishing (wiring tidy up and such) but has a BUNCH of good parts and could be a sweet rig without a lot more effort. Has a back seat for the kids. Some of it needs reworked but the hard to get and burly parts are there. The beadlocks and tires are probably $2k. Front axle and ARB are about $1800-2k. Has hydro-assist. Locked 14 bolt $500. Throw in a Jeep with a small block swap and you've got something.

I was trying to figure out how to buy it and "streetable" it for my kid coming home in Aug. Not much of a college kids car however I tried to make it.
